The rules shown here are for Guild Party/Raids only.
The following rules are set to help everyone take the time to make fair decisions for the entire group. You will find that some people you party with outside of the guild have different standards. Ours are set high so each person has an opportunity at a fair shot for any loot dropped.
Remember - running instances, farming and questing with fellow players should be fun!!! Determine your objectives before you begin any party so everyone is informed ahead of time. For example, if you are farming a certian item for an alt of yours and YOU are the one who created the group, let them know and be fair when it comes to sharing the other drops or they may decided to leave you high and dry or never party with you again. On the same note - if you are asked to join a party be aware of their loot rules. When in doubt ask because you dont want to be labled a 'Ninja Looter' for picking up something you should not have.
In a GR (guild raid) group, the highest officer in attendance shall be considered the Loot Master (LM).
In a GP (guild party) group, the creator of the party will be considered the Loot Master (LM).
It will be their responsibility to ensure that all loot is distributed fairly, according to Guild rules. It is also their responsibility to determin, at the time of the run, how the looting will be set. (Free-for-All, Group Loot and so on) Failure to follow these will result in dismissal from the raid group.
The following rules are set for raid looting:
*Any member of the raid group may request one specific BLUE, or EPIC item. The Loot Master (LM) must be informed of the request before the start of the raid.
*Any "bind on pickup" (BOP) item shall NOT be rolled for, but passed on by the raid group.
*If the LM has a request from a member for said item, they will inform that member to pick the item up.
*If more than 1 person requested it, then those persons will be instructed to random roll for the item.
*If no one has requested the item, then members shall roll for the item on a need or greed basis.
*If a member chooses "need," and wins the item; then that member should immediately equip the item. (unless it it determined and agreed on by the group at the time it is an upgrade item for future use)
*The LM may, if they desire, use the "Master Looter" option to handle the distribution of BOP items.
*All other items that are NOT BLUE, or EPIC or"BOP," members will roll using the Need/Greed roll window provided by WOW.
*Members are expected to be honorable in making the Need/Greed decision.
*If you have any doubt about what constitutes a “Need" ask the LM.
*Members of the raid/party group may PASS on any item they choose.
*If an item is greed rolled, then the winner of the roll is free to use/sell/disenchant the item any way they choose.
*If members wish to offer to trade, give, or sell the item, they may do so after the raid is over.
THESE RULES MAY TAKE A MOMENT LONGER PER DROP, BUT THEY ARE FAIR AND DEMONSTRATE THE HONOR AND RESPECT OUR GUILD IS DEDICATED TO.
